HOD, Message
The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been in existence since the beginning of Government Polytechnic, Osmanabad in 1985 with intake of 60 and increased intake of 60 started from year 2009.
The Programme is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and is affiliated to MSBTE (Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education).
The Department has highly qualified faculty and well-established Laboratories such as Machine shop & Workshop, Fluid Mechanics & Machinery Lab, Thermal Engineering Lab, Theory of Machine Lab, Measurement and Control Lab, Metrology & Quality Control Lab, Industrial Fluid Power Lab.
Mechanical Engineering department is committed to create and disseminate knowledge through innovative teaching & learning to provide world class technicians at diploma level.
